AT THE SET is a social club and community operated by Mandlo Ventures LLC (“AT THE SET,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). We create social experiences, events, programming, content, and membership opportunities designed to bring people together on and off the court.

This Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use, and share personal information when you visit attheset.com, join our mailing list, submit an invitation or membership inquiry, RSVP for or attend an event, communicate with us, or otherwise interact with AT THE SET.

When we say “personal information,” we mean information that identifies, relates to, describes, or could reasonably be associated with you.

1. PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

The information we collect depends on how you interact with AT THE SET.

Information You Provide to Us

We may collect information that you voluntarily provide, including:

Contact Information. When you join our mailing list, request information, contact us, or otherwise interact with AT THE SET, we may collect information such as your name, email address, phone number, city, and communication preferences.

Invitation and Membership Information. If you submit an invitation, membership, or interest form, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, city, social media handle, professional or biographical information, and your responses to questions we ask about you, your interests, and your interest in AT THE SET.

This may include responses to questions such as what you are building, backing, or becoming, on or off the court, and any other information you choose to share with us.

We use this information to understand our community, review membership and invitation requests, curate programming, and determine access to certain AT THE SET experiences.

Submitting information does not guarantee membership, an invitation, admission to an event, or access to AT THE SET.

Newsletter Information. If you subscribe to our newsletter or other communications, we may collect your name, email address, subscription preferences, and information about your interactions with our emails.

Event Information. If you RSVP for, purchase admission to, or attend an AT THE SET event, we may collect information such as your name, contact information, RSVP status, ticket or payment status, guest information, attendance information, and information necessary to manage event access and check-in.

Communications. If you contact us directly, we may collect your contact information and the contents of your communication, including any information you choose to provide.

Partner and Business Information. If you contact us on behalf of a brand, venue, sponsor, collaborator, vendor, or other business, we may collect your name, company, title, business email address, phone number, and other information related to the potential relationship.

Payment Information

Certain events, memberships, products, or experiences may require payment.

Payments may be processed by third-party payment processors or ticketing platforms. Payment information such as your full credit card number is generally provided directly to those providers and is subject to their privacy policies.

AT THE SET may receive limited information relating to a transaction, such as your name, transaction amount, payment status, date of purchase, or other information necessary to administer your membership, ticket, purchase, or experience.

2. INFORMATION COLLECTED AUTOMATICALLY

When you use our website or interact with our digital communications, we and our service providers may automatically collect certain information through cookies and similar technologies.

pages viewed and links clicked;
referring website;
approximate geographic location derived from your IP address;
dates and times of visits;
interactions with our website; and
information about whether you open or interact with our emails.

Event and Ticketing Platforms. If you RSVP for or purchase access to an AT THE SET experience through a third-party platform, we may receive information necessary to administer the event, such as your name, contact information, RSVP status, and ticket status.

Social Media. If you interact with AT THE SET through social media platforms, we may receive information made available through those platforms, depending on your account settings and how you interact with us.

Service Providers. Providers that help us operate our website, forms, newsletters, membership processes, events, payments, analytics, or other services may provide us with information generated through those services.

Business Partners. We may receive information from venues, collaborators, brands, or other partners in connection with an event, partnership, referral, or experience.

4. HOW WE USE PERSONAL INFORMATION

Operate AT THE SET and our website;
Review and manage membership, invitation, and interest submissions;
Curate our membership and community;
Invite you to AT THE SET events, experiences, dinners, matches, trips, programming, and other gatherings;
Administer event registration, ticketing, guest lists, and check-in;
Communicate with members, prospective members, guests, partners, and our broader community;
Send newsletters, event announcements, membership updates, editorial content, partnership information, and other communications;
Respond to questions and requests;
Process and administer memberships, tickets, purchases, and other transactions;
Understand how people use our website and interact with our communications;
Develop, improve, and personalize AT THE SET programming, experiences, content, and services;
Maintain the safety and security of our members, guests, events, website, and operations;
Detect or prevent fraud, abuse, or unlawful activity;
Enforce our Terms and other policies;
Comply with applicable laws and legal obligations; and
Carry out other purposes disclosed to you when information is collected or with your consent.

5. HOW WE SHARE PERSONAL INFORMATION

We may share information with companies that perform services on our behalf, including providers that support:

Forms and membership submissions;
Email and newsletter distribution;
Event registration and ticketing;
Payment processing;

Event operations; and
Professional and technical services.

These providers may process information as necessary to provide services to us.

Event and Experience Partners

We may work with venues, hospitality partners, collaborators, and other providers to produce AT THE SET events and experiences.

Where reasonably necessary to operate an experience, we may provide limited information such as guest names, RSVP status, dietary or accessibility information you have provided, or other information necessary to deliver that experience.

We do not provide our membership, invitation, RSVP, or newsletter lists to event sponsors or brand partners for their independent marketing simply because they sponsor or participate in an AT THE SET event.

Business Transactions

Personal information may be disclosed as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, sale of assets, or similar business transaction involving AT THE SET or Mandlo Ventures LLC.

Legal and Safety Purposes

We may disclose personal information where reasonably necessary to:

Comply with applicable law, legal process, or lawful governmental requests;
Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims;
Enforce our agreements and policies;
Detect, investigate, or prevent fraud or unlawful activity; or

6. YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION CHOICES

Providing personal information to AT THE SET is generally voluntary. However, certain information may be necessary for us to provide membership, event access, invitations, or other services.

Email Communications

From time to time, we may send you emails about AT THE SET, including events, membership, programming, editorial content, partnerships, and other updates we think may interest you.

You may stop receiving marketing emails at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of a marketing email or by contacting us at hi@attheset.com.

Please note that opting out of marketing communications will not necessarily prevent us from sending non-promotional communications, such as messages concerning an event you registered for, your membership, a transaction, changes to our services or policies, safety or security matters, or another existing relationship with AT THE SET.

Accessing, Correcting, or Deleting Your Information

Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information we maintain about you.

We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests. We may also retain information where permitted or required by law.

Cookies and Automatic Data Collection

Most browsers allow you to manage cookies through your browser settings, including receiving notifications when cookies are used, disabling existing cookies, or automatically rejecting certain cookies.

You may need to manage these settings separately on each browser and device you use.

Blocking certain technologies may affect how our website functions.

7. SMS COMMUNICATIONS

If you choose to receive text messages from AT THE SET, we may collect and use your mobile phone number and related SMS consent information to send communications you have agreed to receive. These may include membership communications, event invitations and reminders, RSVP and waitlist updates, club news and other AT THE SET communications.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help or contact hi@attheset.com for support.

We do not sell, rent or share your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in data or SMS consent information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

Your consent to receive promotional text messages is not a condition of purchase, membership or participation in the Services.

8. CALIFORNIA AND OTHER STATE PRIVACY RIGHTS

Depending on where you live and whether applicable privacy laws apply to AT THE SET, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information.

These rights may include the right to request:

Information about personal information we collect, use, or disclose;
Access to certain personal information;
Correction of inaccurate personal information;
Deletion of certain personal information; or
Opt-out rights where required by applicable law.

AT THE SET does not currently sell personal information for monetary consideration.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights available to you under applicable law.

If applicable law requires us to recognize browser-based opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, we will process those signals as required by law.

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Notice.

The length of time we retain information may depend on the nature of our relationship with you, the type of information involved, our operational needs, and applicable legal requirements.

We may retain certain information for purposes including membership and event administration, recordkeeping, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, enforcement of our agreements, and compliance with legal obligations.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information in our possession or control.

However, no internet transmission, electronic storage system, or security measure can be guaranteed to be completely secure. We therefore cannot guarantee the absolute security of your personal information.

11. EVENT PHOTOGRAPHY AND MEDIA

AT THE SET events and experiences may be photographed, filmed, or otherwise recorded.

Photography, video, audio, and other media captured at our events may be used in connection with AT THE SET’s website, social media, editorial content, marketing, promotional materials, and other communications, subject to any applicable event terms, releases, notices, or agreements.

Additional terms relating to photography and recording may be provided when you RSVP for, purchase admission to, or attend an event.

12. CHILDREN’S PERSONAL INFORMATION

AT THE SET is intended for adults age 21 and older.

Our services, membership, and events are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from individuals under the age of 18.

If you believe that an individual under 18 has provided personal information to us, please contact us at hi@attheset.com so that we can take appropriate action.

13. THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES AND SERVICES

Our website, communications, and events may involve or link to third-party websites, ticketing platforms, payment processors, social networks, venues, or other services.

We do not control the privacy practices of those third parties. This Privacy Notice does not apply to information processed independently by third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy notices before providing information to them.

14. UPDATES TO THIS PRIVACY NOTICE

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time.

When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this Privacy Notice.

If we make material changes, we may provide additional notice where required or appropriate, including through our website or by email.

Changes become effective when published unless otherwise stated.
